Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. report baying received the following cable from their London agents, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., dated 15th inst:— Frozen meat : next Zealand lamb, prices are higher by £d to id. There is slightly better demand for heavy weights. Frozen mutton : Lower by id a lb. Butter. — The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 6th inst. amounted to 94,000cwt. as compared with 98,000cwt. of the corresponding week of 1906. Market dull. Salted 98s. onsalted 100s. Tallow : Prices generally ire lower by ls 6d a cwt. ; very little sold. Buyers show little or no disposition to operate.
