POLITICAL DEADLOCK IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
A DOUBLE DISSOLUTION PROBAHLE.

(Received 9.25 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Friday. The tate Assembly insisted on disagreeing from the Legislative Council's amendments in the Franchise Bill. A conference of the two houses failed to reach an agreement, and the Premier announced the Bill would be dropped. The position is now the same as before the last dissolution. It is rumoured in political circles that a double dissolution and a general election for both houses are probable in dMarch.
