} A very interesting an<i keenly con- I tested competition was brought to a J close on Saturday, when the final shoot (. took place for Mr Harris' Cup. . Tho conditions ruling for this trophy were as follows :— (1) Four matches, two of which were over 200 and 600 yards ranges, and two over ranges 500 and 700 I yards. (2) Ten shots and one compulsory sighter at each range (3) Aggregate of any three matches to count for first place. ' (4) The Cup to become the property of winner. Sergt. Buschl was leading for the first three matches, I but Sergt. Ching came to the front on < the final match. The following are the scores counted in the aggregate :—
