SYDNE.Y, Tuesday.. A mooting of 'ladies was held under tho auspices of the Immigration JLieague to discuss jtha quosUon of importing general servants ifrom Britain. The proceedings woro lively, and there waa a strong opposition element. On ono hand it was claimed that good servants were unobtainable in Sydney, and on tho pther that tho mistresses were to blame, and that this movement ' was an attempt to introduce cheap labour.
