In the Housa of Commons the Plural Voting Bill has been read a third time by 333 to 104. In the' House of Lords, Lord Lansdowne moved an amendment clause to the Education Bill, requiring that provision for religious instruction under tho Cowper-Temple clause be given either in school or elsewhere for children whose parents objected to extended facilities, The amendment was carried by 131 to 45, despite the Bishop of Hereford's declaration that this was a wrecking amendment. The third reading; is fixed for Thursday. The Parliamentary Committee inquiring into the Employers' Federation and Shipbuilding Employers' Federation, is issuing a memorandum to the Peers assigning the enactment of the Trade Dispute Bill on the ground that it wauld be a grave step to legalise conspiracy and interference with the liberty of third parties. Lord Muskerry intends to move that the Bill be read, this day six months.
