STATE & PRIVATE FIRE INSURANCE.
A "COMBINE" RUMOURED. (United Press Association). WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The morning newspaper says it is understood that the private Fireinsurance Companies aru about to approach the State Department with a view to arranging a soale of rates, which will involve an increase in some of the premiums. Members of the, local Fire Underwriters' Association declare that they have heard nothing of the mailer.
