THE GUESSING COMPETITIONS. ■ The successful competitors in the guessing competitions in connection with the recent show are . — Fat beast, weight 6431bs : Percy Best, Maitai Valley; L. G. Sutton, Richmond; and L. Wakefield (T), Wakefield, each guessed the correct weight, 6431b5, and will divide the prizes. The guesses ranged -from 2001bs to 837|lbs. ' Five sheep, weight 30S^lbs : E. Sutton, Hope, 3051b5, Ist; K. Fairy, 306| lbs ; and Mrs Joseph' Wadsworth, -John Best, and H. Spittal, . East Takaka, each guessed 3071b5. The guesses' ranged from ISOlbs to 6001bs. Three pigs, weight 2911b5 : Joseph Gibbs, Wakefield, 2911b5; A. Sutton, Hope, 2921b5; Y. Drogemuller, 288ilbs. The guesses ranged from 1591bs to 756Albs. .Total aggregates, 1239Ubs: F. L. Fairhall, Wakefield, 12391b5; Bert Gibbs, Stoke, 124041b5; F. Neai, 1238 lbs. Weight of wool on five sheep, 94ilbs : W. Heslop, Hope, and N. Win, Thorne, each-9351b5; H. Spittal, East Takaka, 931bs. .The tickets were gone over by Messrs J. E. Bartlett, G. E. Chisnall, G. Talbot, and J. Glen (secretary).
