THE WAKEFIELD SCHOOL CADETS.
The Wakefield school cadets went through their class firing at .100 and 150 yards at the Brig^water range yesterday. The Spring Grove School Cadets did. their class firing at the same time. The' 200 yards ran^e has still to be fired at. The lads shoot well, and prove that the cadet movemeat is not "a farce," but of practical use. The Garrison Band, will pay their* annual visit to the Waimea Rifles' Camp next Sunday and play a selected programme of music in the afternoon. A collection will be taken up to defray expenses.
