WANGANUI SHOW.
(United Press Association. WANGANUI, Thursday. The morning broke dull, but the weather now is glorious for the people's day of the show, and the huge attendance bids fair to eclipse all previous records. A large number of visitors from north and south are in town, and the country and back blocks are also well represented. TJie draught horses judged to-day were very strong both in numbers and quality. In fact the quality is the best ever seen here. In Clydesdale stallions A \lexander's Knight of Thistle was fn'st and champion; (.. F. Moore's Bancor was second. A. Alexander's Queen of May was first and champion for best allround mare. M. Edgar's Tomtit was first for weightVcarrying colts, as well aS T^ rry,ng off dl ' iv ing honours. The competitions are now proceeding and great interest is being taken ra them by the public.
