THE VACANT PULPIT. Tho Rov S. Griffiths, late of Lister Hills Congregational Church tii'ad'flord,. Yorkshire, is expected to arrive m Nelson this week for the purpose* of supplying the local Congregational pulpit, which has been for some time vacant. Mr Griffiths has been minister of the Listor Hills Church for the past seven years. He has qiuite recently arrived m the colony by the lonic, travelling witb his wife and family on account of his daughter's health. Mr Griffiths has aljp. been in the mission field, and has participated in the Wolsh revival. He comes strongly recommended by the Congregational Union of New Zealand as a maa of standing amd exnerionce the Rev W. A. Evans spSSg pt him as cultured and forward bright and enthusiastic.
