ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-MORROW. •'. The weather prom ison to bo fino for tomorrow's holiday — tho King's Birthday — and tho principal attraction in Nelson will be the Wakatu Mounted Rifles' military sports, which aro to be held at the Richmond Racecourse. Most of the visiting horses competing iu the hack racing events have arrivod at Richmond and no doubt somo pood racing will be witnessed by the public. The Garrison Hand has been engaged, and tho catering arrangements for tho convenience of tho public have beon placed in able hands. j The first race is to start at 11 a.m. sharp. j The railway authorities have arranged I excursion trains at excursion rates. Tho Ngun- * guru is to run an excursion to tho Croixelles. wliero elaborate preparations havo been made at Okiwi Bay. There will bo fishing, entertainments, etc., and '. milk and hot wator will be supplied • free. Tho vessel loaves at 7.30 a.m., ; aud tho journey should not take more than threo hours each way, so a return iu fair timo will bo mado. Tho Tasman will leave for Motuoka and Torrent Bay, l the Citizens' Bond accompanying the vessa?.
