WAItIOA, Yesterday. Messrs P. T. Keuway add F. H. Tod arrived Irom disborne this morniiig in a motor car. They left last Wednesday. The roads were bad, and they had to stay out all ond night. They were pilllod up bad part? of the rppd hv horses; l'r>ey ' fished tli'o Utiakiburi Eivor with the March Drown fly, and caught somo fine trout, the first caught in this river. When. travelling up the To Reinga hill to escape mud they wont too near the odijo cf the road ; ono wlieel was Up in the air, but tho other fortunately st.nek in the mud, oth^rivisG the inac'iiine and its occupants would have fallen twelve feet | below. They . had to stay until the Gisborne coach came to haul thorn on to the road. Tho Wairoa country roa:U were good, and they travollod rapidly to Wairoa. The travellers intend to ship the car by tba first'- steamor to Napier.
