The Autumn Jlbwer §how and Competition Fair in aid 'of. the Cathedral Fund was opened in the Bishop's Schoolroom ° this : .afternoon by Colonel Pitt, M.L.C., who. made an appropriate speech, and on * concluding was, the recipient of a small ® bduquet from Miss M. Kempthorne. The :.. sohoolroom presented a gay appearance, 3 and on the whole the Show; — which was ndt a large bhe^-was very creditable intt deed. The display of chrysanthemums ■• was splendid, especially those exhibited by Mrs Leslie Reynolds. The judges were: — Cut flowers and blooms, Mr E. Hounsell; other exhibits, Mesdames Barr and E. J.
