NELSON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.

The annual general meeeting of the Nelson Hockey Association was held last aight, Mr. Or. Hogg presiding. The following delegates were present — Nelson Club : Messrs W. James, and H, McCabe ; Federal Club, Messrs G. Hogg md F. Brown -, Maitai Chib, Messrs Batchelor and McGoldrick. Resolved that the Ladies' Club be invited to join the Association at a fee of 10s 6d. The players are greatly on the increase and there is talk of a junior competition taking place. The present season promiEts to be a •very successful one, three clubs having entered for the senior competition, dates of matches' to be arranged.
