THE RECTORSHIP OF EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY.
(Received Nov. 4, 9.13 a.m.) LONDON, Yesterday. Sir Robert Finlay (Attorney-General) has defeated Sir Ednard Grey (UnderSecretary for Foroi.n Affairs in lhe Gladstone administration) for tbe rectorship of Edinburgh University, by a large majority.
