THE WELCOME AT WELLINGTON. [United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 10, Tho Imperial troops arrized yesterday morning, and in the afternoon marched through the city in company with 2000 Volunteers. The weather was very fine, and the line of route was lined by thousands of people, a great many of whom came in from the country districts. The visiting mounted men were all horsed, and made a fine display, the Life Guards being particularly admired. At various points chewing was heard a3 the Higuland regiments, which everyone was anxious to see, made their appearance. The regular marching o? the Imperial troops, who moved with an even swing, was the subject of general admiration, A great [crowd of people had assembled in the Basin Reserve, and when the troops arrived on the scene they were met with loud cheers, The companies were drawn up in a square, and. were addressed by the Mayor, who welcomed them to the cily, and by the Premier.
