APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION.
WELLINGTON;, Feb. 8. The Premier lias cabled the Imperial authorities, asking them to extend the visit of the Imperial troops to New Zealand, so as to enable them to visit Rotorua. This will mean an additional four days, and ifc will gi re both the officors and men eome rest before starting on the homeward royage.
