General" Gatacre would simultaneously clear the Stormberg district, driving the Boers across the Bethulie-bridgo into the Orange Free Stale. There is said to be an enormous quantity of stores at De Aar, amounting in value to „£ 1, 000,0110, and it is held this shows that preparations aro being made for some such movement as is now projected.
