A three peeks' tour [among the jjrandettand moet beautiful scenery 'Jba the* world, with boating, felling, sketching, and exploring in the day time, and ontertisments, concerts, and dancing in the evening, is the programme laid out by the Union S.S. Company for their annual excursion to the Sounds of the Jfiddle Island. Last year the excursion was extended so as ts include the beautiful inlet* of Stewart Island and the Morns and Queen Charlotte Sounds. Thi* year the programme will be enlarged by including in it more points of scenic interest and also allowing the steamer to stay four-days in Kilford Sound in order to enable the trip to the famous Sutherland Falls to be taken in a more leisurely and comfortable manner than hitherto. The Waflcare has again been selected for the trip, and she will leave Sydney on the 30th instant, proceeding direct to Wellington, leaving there on the 4th January ana malting a complete circuit of thu Island.
