Tbe Dachfss of Sutherland's satchel, containing £30,000 wonh of jewellery , was stolen from a tack in a railway carriage l hrough an opening made from the corridor. A sum of 150,000 is still required fcr the relitf of tbe dUlr.ss in ihe West Indies, caused by tbe rtcent hurricane. A further appeal ior assistance has been made by the Co coial Office.
