THE PRESBYTERIAN IJUBILEE.
THE "SCOTCH MARKET." The " Scotch Market " held in connection with the Jubilee of the Presbyterian' Church was formally opened by the Mayor (Mr F. Trask) at the Provincial Hall thiß afternoon in the presence of a numerous gathering. The Hall is very nicely decorated and the stalls and numerous novelties present a busy and attractive scene. The market will . be open this evening, and also tomorrow. f|Tbe following is a .Hat of the various , stalls and the names of the ladies and gentlemen presiding over them:— Fancy goods, Mesdames Taunt, Fleming, junr,, Mißses Fleming and Simpson; Green Bush Inn, Mrs W. Chisholm, Misses Stewart, Cooksey, Chisholm, and Mitner ; artificial chrysanthemum stand, Mesdames W. Rout and ,G. Kerr ; woollen, Mesdames Stewart (and Cruiokshank } toilet, Mrs A. Allan and Miss MacKedzie ; cake, Misses H. and N. Beeves; produce, Mes» dames Calders, Cresswell, and Short, second«hand book, Mesdames Preston and Beaoham ; (flower and frait, Mrs Hogg, Mates uilbertson and Grosbie (2), and Brown (2); ice cream, |Mr C, Hamilton ; jumble, Mrs Heiffer. Confectionery and Curios— Mesdames Hamilton and Lyell, Fretwork— Messrs Brown, Hey ward and Gilbertson. - Refreshment— Mesdames Selby, P. Bond Maokenzie,and Cress (veil, Misses Ewart and S&lm ond. . Tea and coffee— Mrs Littlejohn, Misses Clouafcon (3), Johnstone' (2), Hargreaves, Gilbertson (2), Ked worth, and Cooksey.
