STRANGE DEATH OF A WOMAN. TUinted Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 25. • The wife of John Cross, a wall known Tenui settler, died yesterday morning under extraordinary cireumstnnces. She gave birth to twin daughters a few days ago and appeared to be doing well, but yesterday morning the went to Bleep and did not wake again. As a box of opium pills was found under her pillow an Inquest is deemed necessary.
