COALING STASIONS.
HAWAII AS A BASE. WASHINGTON, Sunday. President McKinley has summoned 125,000 volunteers, to serve two yearß. Prseidenfc McKinley asks Congress to declare war to regularise the situation. Captain Sampson's Key West squadron oomprises twenty-three vessels. President McKinley is consulting with the Foreign Relations Committee of the Senate as to the advtsableuess of occupying a coaling Btation. Hawaii is to bo used as a base of operations in the attack on tho Spanish possessions in the Pacific Ocean.
