Major Franklyn, ona of the Ministerial candidates for Motueka, addressed a fairly well-attended meeting of eleotors at Motupipi last night, aud, in answer to a question from Mr Simpson, he promised to support the Betterment Bill, should ho bo rdturned to Parliament.
