Passengers: Misses Edger, Smith (2), Jones, Porter, Stuart, Mesdaraes Howie, Smith, Haldane, Evans, Masters Gully and Calders, Messrs Bull, Davidson, Wrieht, Warnock, Langbein, Adams, and Calders. 18, steamer Lily, 20, Scully, for Motueka.
Captain Edwin reported at noon to-day: —"N.W. to W. and S, heavy gale with tain and heavy eea and much colder weather. Glass further rise." Tho Waverley at rived at Westporb today, and leaves there to-night for Greymonth and Foxtop. Th« Konnedy is due from Greymouth this evening, and sails at 5 p.m. on Sunday for Wanganui. The Charles Edward left Westport this morning for Wanganui, but was compiled by heavy N.W. w.eather to return w port. She will leave again for Wanganui as soon as possible. The Graf ton leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail at 7 a.m. for the West Coast. The Mawhera Is still detained at Greymonth by a heavy sea on the bar, bub expects to get out to-night. She leaves here at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning for Wellington. The Penguin sailed for Sonth at 6 p.m. yesterday, and reached Wellington at 7 15 this morning. She proceeds to Lyttelton at 4 p.m. The Lady Earkly sails for Golden Bay at 10 o'clock to-night.
