Auokland, August I, Prospecting is BtiU being actively carried on in the Maungatautere distriot and Upper Waikato, Two splendid quartz specimens have been brought into Kahikihi. A Maori exhibited in Otorohanga a rioh specimen which he said he had taken from a reef at Maungatautere to be sent to Auokland for testing. ''
