A Neiv Development. [United Press Association.] Dunbdin, June 11. Am unsuspected development has occurred in tho Colonial Bank Liquidation case. Au application will be made on Tuesday by William Brown, accountant, a contributory to the Colonial Bank, to peruse, at thb office of the liquidators, tho books and documents in their poßsesion relating to the proposed purchase by Messrs Smith and Roid of certain debts and securities of the Bank, on the ground that the laid William Brown is prepared to make an offer for tho said debts and securities, and that such inspection ia necessary before the Court can detormiue the propriety of granting its sanction to any purchase. The affidavits of Mr William Brown, filed in the Supreme Court to-day, states that he desires to inspect the books with the objeot of making a better offer for the assets of the Colonial Bank than Messrs Smith and Reid,
