[United Press Association.J I LogiioN, August 11. The English wheat market is steady, the Continental firm, and the Amerioan declining. At the tallow sales 800 casks were offered, of which 600 were sold Medium mutton brought 21/0; medium beef, 20/3. At the sale of sheepskinß 31,778 were offered, of whioh 3616 were sold. The market showed a general advance ot Jd to gd, but good short wools sometimes brought Jd dearer. Australian butter is quoted at 85s to 90s. A portion of the oattle by tbe Echuca brought oiji.
