About 50,000 are in stock half mouldy. _ At the wool sales there was poor selection, consequently bidding was less animated and the prices irregular, but there was no cign of weakness. The Americans are purchasing heayily. Nb 1 best Scotch pig iron 44s 7d. For Australian wheat on the passage sellers ask 23/9. Buyers will give 23/-. The Government estimates the American wheat harvest at 397 million bushels, a decrease of 14 per cent compar.d with 1894. Colonial oats— Fine averaged 24/6; common, 20/-. Peas averaged 25/6. .
