Wellington, This Day. Mortgages in Nelson District. The amount on mortgage under the Land Transfer Acts in the Nelson district on the 31st of March was *780,600, against £684,500 in March 1894. £8*3,600 was scoured on mortgage during the year, and £36,500 paid off.
