The Position of Lord Wolmer.

Lusdon, May 21, With a view to settle the question whether Visoount Wojrner, heir to the late Lord Solbourno, is entitled to retain his scat in tho Houso of Commons for West Edinburgh, instructions have been given for a writ to bo issued for tho seat. Sir W« Vernon Hurconrt, loader of tho House ap. proved of tbo order, and said that even it the action led to a conflict with the House of Lords, the Earl of Selbourne was responsible, as tho committee set up by the House of Commons to report upon the matter reported that Viscount Wolmer has succeeded to the Earldom.
