The Million and a Half Loan.
[United Press Association.] Wellington, This Day. The Government states Hint Mr \Ynrd did not directly arrange the loan with the Bank of England, but that the transaction was conducted as usual by the loan agents, after consulting with Mr Ward. When Ffteen minutes after the announcemen the loan was quoted at two premium.
