Helping Mining.
[United Press Association.] Dunedin. This Day, Mr Cadman told a deputation which asked assistance in developing the Barewood reef that if companies could combine or arrange with the public to take the matter up in a way that would raise sufficient capital to put in a low level tunnel and then slop the lode out in a large way. he would to recommend the cabinet grant a subsidy to the extent of £500 to test the Barevvood district. He considered that Barewood had the best looking quariz which he had seen in Utago.
