[United Press Association.]
Sydxkv, April 26. In the Legislative Assembly the Premier said that owing to the action of tho House it was impossible to proceed with the Local Government Bill. Members would be given an opportunity to reconsider the Bill, but if they persisted in the course already taken, owing to a change in the basis of his calculations, and the consequent re-iiiTiiugcmciit of plans, it would be impossible to deliver the Financial Statement on the date already fixed. Mr Q 1 Sullivan gave notice to introduce a Bill to empower the Members of one House to attend the other for the purpose of explaining bills introduced by them. Tho two houses are now conferring on the disputed clause in the Lund Bill.
