Governorship of New South Wales.
[SPECIAL.] u- u t L Londos, April 24, air Henry Loch stated, in connection with the Governorship of New South Wales, that he did not approve of the re« duction of salary. He was reminded that the amount had been fixed at £7000, but be replied that the allowances, representm g a sum of £2000, had been deducted, and observed that it would be difficult to get a Governor for the colony other than a wealthy man.
