ACTION FOR SLANDER.
As ail outcome of the recent trouble in connection with the Motupiko School and the charges brought against the headmaster who wan exonerated therefrom by tbe School Cominittou an action fur slaiidcr is pending, and it is to be heard in the District Court on the 15th May next. Damages aie laid at £100. Mr I'itt will appear for the plaintill' and Mr Moginnity for the defendant.
