A Cantain Fined.
WELLINGTON, This Day. Captain Kidley, of the steamer Gothic, was charged with a breach of the Health \ Act in not reporting the sickness of tbe * steward, and was fined .£25 and costs. Mr Martin, Stipendary Magistrate passed stricture on the present method of health officers in examination of passengers and declared it a farce.
