HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
An ordinary meeting of the above named Hoard w.<a held last evening. Present : Messrs Everett, Patt'o, Bout, Piper, Talbot, Baigent, Beuke ai.d P. Lest,
Mr Beuke moved and AL- Puttie seconded that Mr Everett be re-elected Chairman fo: the ensuing year. Both mover and seconder spoke very highly of Mr Everett's services in the past, and as to the time and trouble which that gentleman hd taken in carrying out his duties.
Mr Talbot and Mr Biigent supported the motion which was carried unanimously,
Mr Everett suitably acknowledged the vote of confidence. He thanked the member& for the kindly assistance rendered him, without which he would not have been able to carry out his '.uties as he had done, Ile referred to the faot tl at the expenses in connection with the Hospital had been f ir larger lately, owing to the considerable

Me at;ain thanked the Bwrd for re-electing him chairman, and stated that he would prive his best endeavours to carry out the business of the Com-nittee succesefuly. Tho following accounts were pisaed for p-yment: Hospital £157 16a lOd, and Charit ble Aid £177 9a lid.
