Henry Birkett wa* charged with being away from his h>rse on Saturday last, so us to have no control of it.
The defendant pleaded guilty, but stated that he did tie the wheel of the trap, but that the trap must have slipped, The Benoh Sued the defendant the minimum flue of la and costs 9s.
William Cookßey was charged with beiug away from his horse on Monday last, so as to have no control of it.
The defendant, who admitted the offence, paid that the wheel of his express waa tied, it was utterly impossible for expre s men to ilo their business aud uot leava their vehicles. He explained what had frightened his horse.
Thu defendant waa fined ls and costs i)s.
