The attention oi Competitors is drawn to the following CONDITIONS, as any story failing to comply with them will be dis qU ( The scene of the story must be laid n ' New Zealand. (2) With the exception ot this limit, the character of the story is entirely left to the author. 3)! The story may be written by two r m re people collaborating. (4)* It must be of such a ength as to occupy not less than 32 pages, nor more than 40 pages of the Alsunac. Beyond 32 pages, however, length wil no of itself be considered a merit. Calculations may be made on the basis of 440 words to a page. 5) It must be legibly written, with wide spaces between the lines, and on only one side of the paper, the several t heets of which must be numbered consecutively.
