SyONEVf, Tnia Day. iha Sydney Morning Herald, referring to Sir John Lubboak's remarks with regard to fche claims of fche New Plymouth Harbour Board bondholders, says that the charge made against the New Zealand Government by iinpltcifcion, and against; the colonial Governments generally, with dishonour in oonueofcion with the nonpayment of interest, is about ps reasonable as to hold fcho Governments responsible for mortgages on private property. The charge, tbe Herald says, ia entirely untenable.
