London, May 29. Aa was expeoted, the tailors who went out ou strike have resumed work pending settlement with the masters, who, it is said, are willing to make large oouceaasionß to the men. Ten thousand East End and Jewish tailors will strike on Sunday, Ihe Behving Sea Fisheries. _ „_ London, May 29, in the House of Commons, Mr W. H. Smith, First Lord of the Treasury, announced his intention of introducing a Bill suspending British sealers from carrying out their oalliog in Behring Sea for a term of one year.
