A Salvage Case.
Wellington, Atny 29. ? . In the Supreme Court this morning the Chief Justice delivered judgment in tho case of Riohardson and others v. owners of the ship Rangitikei, a claim for salvage arising in the Napier roadstead where the ship was in danger through dragging her anchors. His Honour decided that £1000 should be paid to the owners, master, and crew of the steamers Fanny add Ahuriri who went to the assistance of the Rangitikei. The judgmont carried costs.
