August 19. steamer Wanaka, 276, Meads, for Taranaki and Manukau, Passengers : Miss Mills, Mrs Mills, Messrs Mills, and Aldridge (2). steamer Elsie, 14, Johnston, for Riwaka. — ketoh Argus, 3(>, Westrupp, for Fern Town. — ketoh Comet, 23, Ricketts, for Waitapu. The Murray arrived at Greymouth this afternoon from Nelson, and pioceeds to Westport this evening. The Kennedy lefi Westport this afternoon, and will arrive here about 8 a.m. to«morvow. She sails at 10 p.m. for Motueka aud West Coast ports. The Aorere leaves Wellington tins alternoon for Patea. Tha Chaxles Edward arrived from Welling ton at 930 to-day, and Bails at 7 p.m. for West Coast ports. The Mawhera, in plaoe of the Bruoner, leaves Wellington at 8 o'clock to-night, will arrive here to morrow morning, and sail by the same tide at 10 a.m. for Westport. Tha Grafton will arrive from the West Coast on Thursday morning, and sail by the same tide at 11 a.m. for Picton and Wettings ton, transhipping into tbe Rotorua at the latter port. „ , The Wanaka arrived from Wellington, Taranaki, and Manukau at 6 o'clook thiß morniDg, and sailed by the same tide at 9*15 a.m. for the North. The Penguin arrived from South at ;9'45 this morning. Having a large quantity oi timber to take on board for Pioton, har depatture has been postponed uutil 9 o'clock to-night, when she sails for Pioton, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The katoh Transit arrived from Motupipi this morning with a cargo of coal. The Lady Barkly makes a tup to Motueka to-morrow, leaviug here at B*3o a.m. The Waitapu sails for Motueka and Wel* lington on Thursday morning. The Waihora arrived at Sydney this morning. The brigantine L'Avennire from Newcastle, with a cargo of coal for Messrs Neale aud Haddow, is in the bay, and should reach the outer anchorage before dusk. When the Han Francisco mail left Home it was expeoted that the barque Loohnagar would be placed on tbe berth at London for Nelson unless a slightly larger vessel oould be obtained.
