The Governor's Movements.
("From a Correspondent.) Ktjmaba, October 30. His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by his Private Secretary end Mr Pavitc, af cer leaving Kumara on Monday, arrived at Lake Brunner and, accompanied by Mr Mitoliell, at once proceeded to the Lake, on which the party spent some hoars skirting tho shores and visiting the entrance to the Arnold ariver. The party returned to Mr Mitchell's for the night, and early yesterday morning proceeded to Jackson's via Lake Paroa, They ■were met by Mr Druce, ut whose station they partook of lunch, and the Governor and Mr Wolrond went on to the Otira and etayed at 3)yer'a last night. They passed the Bealey this morning and will rest at the Caeß to-night, end to-morrow will proceed to Springfield, arriving at Cbristohurch on Friday morning, Mr JPavitt, who noted aa guide in the Luke country, returned to Kumara this morning, The Governor expressed himself ac .highly delighted with his trip, with tho beautiful eoßuery, and the kind reception he had met with.
