Thames, July 24. Mr Molntyr?, the Governments Audit Inspector, has made a sarai-offioial statement to tbe Borough Council ;and Harbor Board re the extent of F. C. Dean's defalcations. It Fhows the total n mount to be £2495, made up as follows:— In th« Harbor Board for tbo past 2£ years, £878 ; Borough Council, 2 years and three months, £1617. Tha books have not yet been audited beyond these periods.
