Captain Edwin reported at 1-22 p.m.:— "flY.rth <o west and oouth west gale with g'asa foiling within 12 hoars. Indications of rr,och ran." The Charles Edw«rd arrived from Wellington yesterday, and naile at 6 p.m. to-duy for Won Coast TVe Kennedy arrived at Greymouth this morning from Hokitiks, >.nd left by the same tide for YY'estport and Nelson. She is due hero t" -morrow afternoon, and sails at 6 p.m. on W ednesday for Wanganm. The Murray leaves GreYmon'h this afternoon for Weitport and Nelson, the Bails at 2 p.m. on Wed. nesdav lor Kekerongu an l Wellington. The Botorua lett Welinßton this afternoon, Trill Brrive here to-morrow morning, and sail by the e»mo tide at 6 ft.m. for Melbourne yia Greymonth. The Mahinapun left Westcort at 9 o'clock this aorninff, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail at 6 p.m. for JPioton and Wellington, oonnectinfl With the TVanaba at the Utter port for South, The Dorio leavea Lyttelton for London on Tbursday. The mails will be forwarded from hsre by the M»hin»pu» to-mnrrow. The Branner arrived from Greymonth at 3 # 30 p.m. yeiterday, and aai'od hnlf an hour later for Wellington, where she arrived at 4 a.m. to-day. She loaves there again at 4 o'elook this aiternooD, will arrive hers to-morrow morning, nnd sail by the same tide at 6 a.m. for Greymoath. The Grafton will arrive from Wellington and Somth on Wednesday morning, and sail by the same tide at 7 a.m. for Westport. 'lhe Lady Bandy inila for Golden Bay at 9 p.m. to-morrow. The Waitapu makei a trip to M<; tueka to-morrow, leaving here at 3 p.m. and there on the return at 6 p.m. Ifhe B.B* Shag arrived from Picton at 7 o'olook this morning;. h»ying left there at 8 p.m. on Saturday. She brought a oargo of wheat for Mr Eutharford, whioli she discharged at the Railway wharf. The Shag sails to-night for Fern Town, where she load* with coal for Foxton. The Maripoeo, with the San Francises mail, reached Auckland at 7 a.m, to.dny. The Wanaka, with the Southern portion of the mail, leaves Manukau this afternoon, and should reach Wellington to-morrow night.
