UNIVERSITY OF NEW ZEALAND. DECEMBER EXAMINATIONS : Matriculation, Medical, Preliminary, and Junior Scholarships. These Examinations will commence on MONDAY, December 3. THE PLACES of Examination will be Auckiand, Napier, WaDgaaui, Wellington, Nelson, Greytnouth, Christcburoh, Timara, Oamaro, Dunedin, laveroargill. Candidates must send in to the Registrar of the University, on or before SATURDAY, November 3, a list of tb.3 subjects in which they desire to be examined, dgned with all their names in full, and accompanied by a statement of their age (last birth day,) and by tbe examination fee, from which there is no exemption in any case. Candidates' notices vvill be accepted up to Saturday, November 10 (bat co later), only en condition that they are ftccoaip.MUGd by a treble fee. The Fee for the Matriculation or tha Medical Examination ia Two Guineas ; the Fee for tha Junior Scholarship Examination is One Guinea. Iv the last case a second guinea will be payablo if the candidate, on passing, matriculates. Candidates must distinctly mention for wbich Examination they propose to come up. Candidates for the Junior Scholarship Examination must not be less than 16 or more taan 2l years of age. Candidates for Matriculation, or Medical Preliminary Examination must not be less than 16 years of age. 1 Ten Junior Scholarships of the annual ' value of £45, tenable for taree yeans, are to be competed for at this Examination, W.
