A mketing of the Nelson Regatta Sailing Committee was held on Tuesday evening, Mr Fell occupying 1 the chair, to consider the advisability of agitating for a regatta on Boxing 1 Day, when it was decided co call a public meeting on Tuesday, the 16th inst., for the purpose of discussing the matter. As will be seen by advertisement the Richmond Wesleyan Sunday School intend 1 giving an entertainment and Christmass Tree, to be held to-morrow evening in the Oddfellows Hall. We understand that the entertainment will be of an attractive character, while the tree will be loaded with useful articles to suit both old and young. The funds derived will go towards replenishing the school 1 brary and providing the children with an outing during the summer, and with such laudable objects in view we have no doubt the hall will be well filled..
