MOTUPIKO ROAD BOARD.

t This Board met on the 6th Ootober, when the following members were present: Messrs Wm Gibbs, J. Arnold, and H. Mead. . The minutes of last meeting were read and : passed. Resolved, That the matter re distribution " of old Board's property be referred to the County Counoil, and that the Seorotary write $o the County Chairman to that effeot. Two tenders for the offioe of clerk to the Board were received. Besolved. That in oonsequenca of this not being a full meeting of the Board, that fresh slenders be called for the appointment of clerk ; 'lenders to be sent to the Board's office by the 3rd day of November. Eeceived a letter from Mr G. Coleman re disposal of Section 48 and 49, eg. 35, Gordon. Also, that he had surrendered the lease of Sections 1 and 2, Block XIII, Wai iti. .. , Beoeived a letter from O. E. Thompson relative to the state of the road from Newport Bros, up the Motupiko Valley. Beaolved, that id will reoeive the Board's .attention as soon as they have sufficient lands. Besolved that notice be given to Mr T. A, Bromell informing him not to put a fence aoroes the old road through bis property in accordance with the permission of the old Board. .• Besolved, tbat tenders be called for this Board's advertisements, &o. Besolved, To put one man on the roac through Arnold's for one day.
